“The property was just as described. It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. It was conveniently located to the Apostle Islands and surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again. One small caveat, the Wi-Fi at night is not great if that is important to you and it is near the highway although it is tucked away and you don’t see or notice it. I only noticed highway noise in the morning but it didn’t bother me while I was enjoying my coffee on the balcony.”

“Was staying there with my senior citizen mother, brother & his wife & daughters (teen girls), sister, myself & 2 children (8/12). We maxed out capacity but all had plenty of room, never felt cramped. It was walkable from the ferry and had plenty of parking behind it, the view from the deck by the entrance was fantastic.”

“My wife and I rented the suite for three nights during the Apple festival. Everything was as described in the listing. The suite is located on the ground level of a three story house. It has a walkout patio that overlooks Lake Superior. Property was super clean and well equipped. Bed is comfortable and big. The only shortcoming was lack of true kitchen which we were aware of so it wasn’t a surprise. Apartment is equipped with a small kitchenette with no sink and cabinets. All utensils and……

“Die zwei Ferienwohnungen sind einfach fantastisch! Wir hatten die Nr. 2, die einen Balkon zum See hat. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an Garnichts. (Großer Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Gasgrill (Überdacht, direkt vor der Eingangstür). Eine Feuer- und Badestelle befinden sich im Gartenbereich. Wir hatten einen sehr, sehr netten Kontakt zum Besitzer, der im Haupthaus wohnt. Wir haben zusammen am Feuer gesessen und ein sehr netten Gespräch geführt.……

The school itself had sold out of its rooms on their property so I needed to look for my own accommodations.The Suite Three at La Pointe Lodging was just perfect, only one block from the ferry and a quick 1-1/2 mile drive to the Madeline Island School. The room was bright, clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. My experience could not have been better.”

“This property is beautiful and clean, and right in downtown Bayfield. You can walk to everything and there is a nature walk trail very close. The proprietors are friendly and helpful.”

“It's a very cute place! We had an issue with the hot water and the property owner came by to check it out within 5 minutes of being called. He had someone over to fix it in less than 6 hours. If you stay here, we highly recommend spending time on Madeline Island; don't just use it as a launching point to other excursions. ”
