“My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay here. We took advantage of all the amenities—the pizza oven, projector screen, and sauna. The hot tub was tricky to heat up and took about 5 hours to get to 85 degrees, felt like a warm bath on a January night.”

“We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful property, that our 4 year old affectionately nicknamed "The Lincoln Log House". From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was beautifully decorated and is very well taken care of, the photos dont do it justice. And we have stayed at many rental properties over the years, and this house was the cleanest house we've ever stayed at. Usually even if a house looks clean when you walk around barefoot your feet get dirty...not this house!……

Although the weather was not ideal (in part due to hurricane Helene further south), we took time to visit near and far locations: Luray Caverns (wow!!), Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, and Richmond museums. We had our adult children there for Christmas dinner- and I’m quite sure they will be renting this house in the future. Also the mattresses and linens were very comfortable- which is impressive in any vacation rental. This is a treasure nestled in the country.”
