“My partner and I visited the area to explore the VMFA. The property was well maintained and just as the photos on the listing portrayed. Our host even went grocery shopping for us which was a beautiful surprise. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. We are definitely planning on visiting the area again due to our experience this weekend. ”

Also, you do not feel like a renter, but as a guest. Shampoo, conditioner, body cream, toothpaste surprisingly provided! The owners are gracious and always available, if needed. We would love to make this rental our home away from home when visiting.”

“The home was clean, spacious, bright, and conveniently close to shopping. The firepit by the lake was a fantastic feature that made for cozy evenings filled with s’mores and great conversation. Having our dogs with us was such a special part of the trip, and the small beach right on the lake made it easy for them to splash around and enjoy the water. “Our stay was amazing! We had a great time with our whole family - from ages 5 to 75. The lake was so relaxing - there are kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, everything! The owners were attentive and extremely responsive. I highly, highly recommend this home if you are looking for a family centered, relaxing, fun-filled vacation! ”

“Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. The layout was perfect for our needs. We are already talking about a return trip. Fully equip kitchen (w/two refrigerators) made meals a breeze. “Great communication from owner! This is a lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood. The front fenced yard was perfect for our dog and the home's interior was super clean and inviting. We had 2 vehicles and were able to find street parking easily in front of home. We ate at the Mexican restaurant that was very close by (Amigos) and it was delicious. Also, very close to a Target & Kroger along with many other shops. I would definitely stay at this home again!”

“I booked this home for my daughter's 16th, Teen approval beautiful home, location and friendly neighbors. Very clean, immediate response and welcoming messages from the host. I most definitely recommend for family fun. Loaded with games, game room. We play games for quality time and engagement. The pictures do no justice the space and view is immaculate, beautiful settings down to the decor and amenities and everything you need there for household stay. 10/10”
