“The hotel was located 5 minutes drive outside Oviedo. It was an old elegant property built in the 1930’s to a very high standard. It was surrounded by extensive grounds and had excellent views over Oviedo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was of a very high standard. Highly recommended. ”

“This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. I will recommend this place to my friend and anyone ”

“Lovely hotel in wonderful town with excellent restaurants. Nice bathroom and comfortable room. Helpful front desk staff and nice library seating area. Staff also made reservations at Casa Xurde - don’t miss out on dinner there! Nice hikes nearby. Amazing value ! ”
