“Fantastic home! It is truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in all our years of travel. Elias, the caretaker, met us and showed us through this beautiful home. He was very fast to respond to any of our questions. The home was very clean and the kitchen was extremely well-supplied with appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. A couple of times each day the electrical transmission wires outside the property boundary made a loud buzzing sound. ”

“My husband and I just spent the month of April in this beautiful home with incredible views of the mountains and the city lights of San Jose at night. It's a great location, close to Atenas but quiet and peaceful. The home is well equipped, furnished nicely, very clean, comfortable, has a great split floor plan and large open rooms. “Super host! Very communicative from start to finish. The accommodations were superb. The kids loved the pool area. We were all entertained with the outdoor living space. Everything easy and accessible in the kitchen, to allow for a lot of “at home” meal preparation. The bedrooms very comfortable, and wheelchair accessible (for my father). A gorgeous backyard garden with a strolling path for everyone, including my father. We will all be back!!”

“We felt right at home at Villa la Jolla. The house had everything we needed for a simple, relaxing stay. We were able to cook our own meals, good internet, Smart TV, comfortable furniture - nothing too lavish - just right for us. The pool is a lovely treat. From time to time, friendly iguanas and agouti came into the yard to visit. There is a green area next to the house with beautiful bird life. It is a convenient location - a short drive into Atenas..
