“This is a spacious home located on a scenic section of the Elk River. Guests may want to be aware that the road in to the property is rural and may not be suitable for all vehicles. Also the driveway is steep, so it's probably not ideal for those with elderly or limited mobility guests. Overall, an excellent place to unwind in a quiet and scenic waterfront environment. Also, it's a little ways out of town, so be sure to bring what you need with you as stores and restaurants are a few miles……

“Barsala provided a great apartment for rent for a few days at a good price. The process can be more stream-lined for the future. Their website had trouble using my phone's camera (even after granting permissions) to verify I was the person on my driver's license. I had to do the authentication process on my laptop with my webcam. They also use an app called Latch to provide access to the door lock. Just make sure you keep your important belongings on you before leaving the apartment if you are……

“We were in town for a swim meet. It was a quiet neighborhood. We were able to take back road to the aquatic center to avoid traffic. The proximity to shopping was great for down time. We loved being able to have our dog with us. ”

“Have stayed here 3 or 4 times for group trips - location is ideal. House is nice and well stocked. Starting to need a little maintenance like cleaning the gutters and roof, minor paint to touch up. The cat doors need to be patched up so rodents don’t get in the house.”
