“I had a lovely stay here under quite difficult circumstances. I arrived just as the power went out across Spain and Portugal. Despite the lack of electricity there was water for a shower and a cold beer in the garden ”

“The hotel was fabulous and staff excellent. However. Food in the bar was pretty bad, not a pizza but ham and cheese on ciabatta and an uncooked, raw and cold burger, not acceptable for this type of establishment. The noise from upstairs, which is probably throughout the hotel was getting unbearable, even ear plugs didn’t stop the sounds of banging and very loud plumbing. Amazing location, historic building and common parts immaculate.”
