“This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! The rooms are comfortable, the building itself interesting architecturally, and some very quirky and amusing decor. We arrived during the Pentecost festival, which was very lively ☺️.
