“For the price it was what I expected. Breakfast was exceptionally nice and accommodating. Rooms were fairly clean and noise was limited. My only disappointment was I wanted a hotel with a pool for my kids but it was broke however we played at an indoor water park near there for the day. Great stay and highly recommended if you are in the area and want to explore Starved Rock area.”

“Not bad for the money. The rooms heater is built into the air conditioner which was a first for me. Apon arrival I was greeted by friendly staff and was offered an upgrade to a king for only $5 more, naturally I took it. First room was nice but the plunger to the shower was rusted half open so I switched rooms. Second room was good but had its flaws. Carpets seemed very old with cigarette burns. The bed was very nice and comfortable and CLEAN!! The shower, however, seemed to have been thrown……

“Expedia's name should absolutely not be associated with this property. The dirt, grime and filth were unimaginable ! The shower didn't work properly and only offered a 'drip'. When I was handed the room key, it was black with filth and sticky. I went to my car to get my sleeping bag, layed that down and slept in it.
