“My husband and I are locals to the area. We needed more space for us and some out of town close friends. It happened to snow while we were at the VRBO. It was beautiful. I will say that you will need to plan accordingly vehicle wise if you stay during the winter. Luckily we have 4 wheel drive SUVs. The fireplace was lovely and so was the hot tub the few nights we used them. The VRBO chalet was decorated nicely and had most of.what we needed during our stay. ❤️ We will gladly go back and……

“My husband and I booked this place for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. The hot tub and outdoor areas had amazing views of the lake but still felt secluded and private. The indoors was super roomy and cozy at the same time and we just had the time of our lives. ”

“I moved to WI a couple of years ago but 2 of my kids still live in MO so this was a great place to gather and have a few friends drop by. The weather was not the best but the property was wonderful. We wish we could have spent more time outside but the rain wasn’t having it! ”

“This cabin was everything you see in the pictures and MORE! We absolutely loved every minute we spent in this cabin. To begin, the entire resort is gorgeous. I wish we had planned more time to have enjoyed all that the resort had to offer. The cabin itself is so well appointed. The views are stunning. The decor and outfitting is so welcoming. It felt like we had been invited into someone’s beautiful home. We loved the hot tub and the trail system is literally out the back door. When we arrived……

“The location, property, community, surrounding area, everything was fantastic. Our family does not take many vacations and so this was an excellent place for us to create memories with our young daughter. Remote enough so that we could have private time but also close enough to visit the St. Louis zoo, aquarium, etc. What a fantastic place. We would love to return.”
