“I did enjoy my stay here. If you can find it in your heart to overlook the very scary driveway that gets you to the property, you will enjoy it, too. The room was clean. The owners were nice. It is a very relaxing place to spend the night. You have to enjoy the rustic setting, though: squeaky wood floors and the old cabin smell. Also, no TV or WiFi. I would go back again, though.”

“We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. “Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. “I stayed at this place because it was one of the few places still available in the area. I completely lucked out and had the most amazing experience. Not only was everything cozy and clean but we had almost hte entire upstairs to ourself. “We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us.
