“Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday.”

“Beyond expectations, location, location, location of course with that front row seat view of Etna across the bay but the property itself was much larger than expected from the photos. “Nice apartment in a calm vicinity. Maybe late September is a little off season, since the refurbishments of other flats in the building were going on and the paek season nearby service facilities were closed. We had a mixed pallette of weather, from wind and rain to bright sunshine. But the sea was still lovely during the sunny days and with the help of our car it was a perfect base for exploring eastern Sicily!”

“It was beautiful, however weather was a bit cold and we expected to be warmer. You need a car for sure in this area as it is not close to anything. Carmelita was always accessible and helpful. It also needs some mirrors for ladies. Otherwise beautiful.”

“Even though we had booked two weeks at a beach resort in Giardini-Naxos we still opted to come here for an overnight stay to get more from our visit to Ortigia/Siracusa than you can from just a day trip.
