The host and personnel is very helpful and friendly. The downside is, like many places in Sicily, the non-stop barking of dogs around the property, which can be irritating when trying to sleep...”

“Lovely hotel, in great condition with really nice and helpful staff on reception. Breakfast seemed good but somethings were lost in translation - I ordered an omelette but never got it. My wife ordered an Americano but got a cold coffee. We dont have any complaints however. €20 taxi trip to Ortigia though, which is expensive - and you have to visit Ortigia.”

“We loved the Villa Politi, a grand hotel with a very interesting history. The guest areas are spacious and the pool beautiful. The only concern we had, the dinner service was a little slow due to large tour groups dining, the staff were under pressure. We would have also appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“In general B & B Nike is beautiful and perfectly located to explore the old city of Ortigia. However parking was available only if you have patience to circle the block and wait for an opening or pay at a nearby lot. Be advised that the room is on the 3rd floor with no lift. Angelo was very helpful!”
