“Had a great stay! Great location!”

“This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!”

“The property was super cute. The hot tub was a great addition. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of storage for clothes and toiletries if you are an over-packer like us. It was in a very good location to be wineries and breweries that were on the east side of the lake. ”

“The carpet had multiple stains in three bedrooms and the upstairs hallway. The pool house had a dirty floor and an iron stained pool. If I had gone in the pool I would have brought dirt in from the previous people.”

“Annual girls weekend for 5. This was a new location this year instead of the beach...The serene surroundings were perfect, a little chill in the air and the town of Skaneatles is charming. Basement bedroom did not have adequate heater flow and the overall cabin needed a good clean and some recaulking but we enjoyed the rustic accommodations. Thank you for a great getaway.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love……

“We had a great time staying here! Cabin was very cute, cozy and we loved the hot tub! Fenced in backyard was great for my 3yr old to run around in without having to worry about him leaving my sight! Location is perfect! Secluded just enough that you don’t feel like you’re alone in the middle of the woods, but you still have privacy! And the daily breakfast is a perfect touch! The only thing I could say is there was a lot of ladybugs inside, understandable for the time of the year but maybe some……

“There was nothing about our stay that wasn’t perfect. Even the rainy weather gave us an opportunity to catch up, play some ping pong, and enjoy our favorite spot - the screened in back porch! As a retired nurse and part-time cleaner for an a vacation rental, I and my sisters were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property! We also enjoyed the deer and other wild life that visited with us. Thank you!”

“We stayed in the cabin while we attended the Deck the Halls wine trail. The cabin was very nice and clean and all of the necessary amenities were provided. While the house is not directly on the lake, it is just a short walk down to the dock listed by the property. ”

“This cabin is in the perfect location and has AMAZING views!! It has a lot of space and a lot of steps which isn’t great for carrying luggage and groceries up to the main floor and then more steps for the open loft bedroom. We were fine with it, but keep that in mind. The bedrooms were a bit warm. We couldn’t lock the door when leaving because the code lock wasn’t working at the time we were there. We had to watch our water use because it could run out. We had one towel & wash cloth per……
