“We found the house to be a teaching tool on how to live sustainably. It's more than just an unusually built house. It however is a tiny house. The upstairs loft bedroom basically has only a bed. That's it. No room for anything else. Stair steps are not full width so were difficult to maneuver in the dark. But we had a great time experiencing a well built and cute home concept. ”

“The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!”

“We had a very good day. The house was better in person than in the pictures. Extremely clean. Host was very responsive to any questions. Excellent location to Seneca wine trail and Watkins Glen State Park. Use from the porch were breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here”

“Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We were comfy and enjoyed the scenery. We were there for Cornell softball and due to rain schedule was changed to accommodate. We really didn't go outside much due to rain but that cannot be helped! Overall we were pleased with our stay. Not being familiar with the area the roads were a little different in the rain and fog but again, couldn't be helped. The rooms and kitchen and living room were all comfortable for our group. Would stay again!”

It was the perfect stay for a quick getaway to the wineries and hiking, with lots to do close by. And the little treats when we arrived were very welcomed by our dog!
