“This was brand new cabin which was very spacious. Many extra touches…fabulous coffee bar, snacks and even toiletries (not the standard) in the bathroom. The fire pit was inviting but it was so dry we opted for the porch where we listened to the elk bugling. You are right in the main elk viewing area but on a quiet side road. We stayed for 2 nights. “What an amazing place! The kids loved it and we all had a great time around the fire. FYI, if it's warm outside, talk around the fire from the chairs, but if it's cool outside, the giant fire pit is actually a warm seat and a small fire will be all you need.The creek was a bit low in late August, but still beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were spacious to be sure. The pond is very nice, and though we didn't catch any fish, a very large one did bend the rod almost in half. The location……
