“This was our second stay at this AWESOME LITTLE CABIN. It is an absolute gem. Charmingly decorated, cozy, and very private. The addition of a full-sized refrigerator was a real bonus too especially since we like to prepare most of our own meals. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants some quiet time away!”

“I will speak out of my perspective what could help this vacation spot be even better (we liked it for purpose of rest and staycation). I didn't realize that it was part of , let's say resort, for a lack of better word, but it was really out of that complex anyway, house on the side of route 6, so yes, you can hear lots of trucks passing by from a queen size room which is on that side of the house, facing route 6, but other 2 bedrooms, king size and with 2 double beds, are facing behind the house……

“We came up for the Dicken’s Christmas in Wellsboro. The house was great. Kitchen needs to be stocked better with spices if your cooking in house. The driveway needs to be marked better to be able to find it at night, the first night we went passed it 3 times. There were no lights left on so we came in blind in the dark. It has snowed also and nothing was plowed or shoveled. ”

“The Octagon never disappoints! Joe and Maitland’s property is perfect for walking, hiking or sitting by the Pine Creek. The mountain trails and glorious Fall foliage bring peace to the soul. The upgraded facade, roof, and wood flooring add to the charm of the cabin and its welcoming atmosphere. We are already planning next year’s adventure.”

“Second time this year staying at this cabin by the stream, love how relaxing it is. Perfect getaway for myself, husband and our pups. Brought the 6 year old grandson along this time. We explored the area, played in the creek, saw the Kinzua Bridge, and sat by the fire enjoying the starry sky at night. Will definitely be returning. Grandson gives it 600 stars 😀.”

“Cabin was very clean and organized. Very happy with 2-day stay.The refrigerator / freezer not working properly. Could not make ice cubes and ice cream melted inside freezer.This was a minor inconvenience for a 2 day stay, but it would it had been a 7-day vacation, it would have been a bigger issue. Overall, a great cabin for 2 people!I will be back.”

“What a gem! The house is extremely well kept, clean, and full of activities. There's board games, books, and a whole astronomy section, including binoculars!We were here for a quick getaway, with hopes of seeing the planetary parade from the stargazing field. We got lucky, and Mother Nature cleared the skies for a few hours. Absolutely amazing!The host, Chris, was friendly and full of great advice. This was our first VRBO experience: it won't be our last.
