“Retired couple's trip was to relax with no electronics and enjoy nature. Great place to cross off goals on our bucket list. Unit is small, comfortable bed but was hard for spouse to get out of, shower is narrow and could use light over table. Overall, unit met our needs and will consider staying again in the future.”

“We stayed a week, and that view is just incredible. Get up for the sunrise and watch the fog on the water. We saw deer, fish jumping in the lake, an Eagle, Hawk, bunny, woodpeckers and other birds. The silence is so nice. We lucked out on a week of moonlight. The house is good, everything worked, the deck and screened porch are fantastic. We spent 99% of our time out there. We took walks down the gravel road and saw deer nearly every day. The WiFi worked great. This house has lots of windows……

“Very cozy little cottage to getaway too! Had a small amount of trouble finding it, but I think that was mostly on my end. Host was available to contact in case we needed anything. Location is perfect for the lake area too. Definitely a good spot!”

“My adult daughter and I stayed here while visiting Wilder Days in Mansfield. The home makes good use of its space and is amazingly roomy. The main sleeping areas are in lofts, up steep stairs. That wasn’t a problem for us, but might be an issue for older seniors or young children who might be prone to falling, so just be aware. The kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer were convenient. Though we didn’t use them, there was also a BBQ on the back deck, as well as a fire pit in the yard. The stars……

“House cute; clean. Very close neighbors, but quiet neighborhood. Best part was the screened porch. Sitting in the morning or evening was quiet and cool. Messages with manager simple and efficient. Overall good stay.”

“We stayed here during our trips to the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and The Baker Creek Seed Company, both great destinations. The house was just about perfect for our family, it was well stocked with just about everything we needed. No television, and we loved that! We spent more quality time talking and playing games. We cooked full meals and lacked only a few spices, besides that, the kitchen has everything you need. The outdoor grounds are spacious, and we spent a lot of time enjoying……
