“We needed a place for our family of 6 to stay while visiting family in the area. This place was exactly what we needed, as advertised, and the owner was quick with communications. We would definitely stay here again!”

“I had such a good time here that I actually added three more weeks so this is the first of three reviews as I booked them separately. The host was really nice working with me and the associate that supports any household requests as well. Everything works perfectly, but the host associate was nice to come and anticipate the batteries on the smart lock would be running low and came and changed them along with leaving me extra snow melt, and a shovel after clearing the walkways. “We stayed 4 nights for our family trip. The home was sparkling clean and we found all we need. I love boho styled rooms. No issues with neighbors. All kind of TV subscription available. Overall very positive experience. Thank you!”

“This place was VERY nice. The decor, comfort, convenience…you name it. I don’t know what is standard in these places, but there were towels, wash clothes, shampoo…, and coffee. When I had question the host was available and responded quickly. If I’m back in the area I HOPE I can book this place again.”

“We had a great time at Highland Lake. The apartment was so comfortable, and larger than I would have thought from the description. It was convenient to town - the teens loved access to DQ, pizza shops, etc just a few minutes away. There were kayaks and a paddleboat we could borrow, which I somehow missed in the description - nice pluses! The lake access from the dock was perfect. We brought stand-up paddleboards, and had an easy time launching them and exploring the lake. In the apartment,……

“It was a great house to host our family for Thanksgiving dinner! ”

“I want to preface my review by stating we had a wonderful time. We needed a getaway to unplug and relax and we were able to do just that. The area was beautiful, nature-plenty, quiet, secluded. There were a few unexpected glitches but nothing that we couldn't improvise around. Having said that, the listing said queen size beds, but they were only full, so my husband and I stayed in separate rooms which was sad . We also felt the people that prepped the home for our stay, must have ran short of……

“Can’t beat proximity to downtown and other CT locations.Unfortunately we were hit with icy conditions so we could not enjoy all it has to offer. Owner checked in on us and kept driveway safe and clear. We really appreciated his hospitality.The rental was well equipped with everything you need. I LOVED the sunny kitchen to enjoy my morning coffee.We’ll definitely come back when it is warmer!”
