“This is an amazing house with a fantastic pool and is well equipped. We loved being here once settled in. The map was inaccurate at the time of booking so we adjusted our expectations and enjoyed our stay. The host was helpful and offered support for us to be closer to the airport for our last day. Much appreciated. The house has great amenities and the kitchen has many bonuses like laundry, icemaker and lots of cutlery. The pool was a gift from heaven on hot days. Great rooms and set up. “The property itself is wonderful for a family vacation. Ample room for everyone with the library/entertainment area, the dining room, deck, covered swimming pool and hot tub and every room with its own bathroom. Patrick couldn't have been more helpful. It was like having your own Concierge. Very helpful coming up with activities and and recommendations. The staff were friendly and took care of everything. The breakfasts delicious and large. It all worked flawlessly. ”

“The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa”

“The house is so cute and cozy! It has everything that you may need for your stay. From the kitchen to the different rooms, everything is set. It is private and the lake was indeed in front. It was clean and the communication with the owner was very easy. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, that is absolutely your place. We got rainy days which made it hard to enjoy the lake. It was also far from activities so anywhere we wanted to go took us at least an hour and a half. ”

Our host was so welcoming and generous, with the remote location he suggested great takeaway deliveries and we had delicious pizzas ordered to our door, however there is also a local town within driving distance to eat out. “The house was amazing. Very well maintained and clean. The view of the lake was fantastic. No A/C but that was not a problem for us in February. Property Manager was very responsive. About 45 to 1 hour from most activities in La Fortuna which is not a bad drive. Some good restaurants nearby. The only downside was we only got to use the hot tub for a few hours on two days of our 4 day trip because it was not supposed to be part of the listing so verify availability of the hot tub if that……
