“We came to the Northwoods of Minnesota to walk across the Mississippi River. We wanted to stay in a house that was quiet, yet close enough to make getting around easy. This house was big, inviting, clean and well-appointed (at least 25 towels in the bathroom, and they're brown so no one has to worry about makeup!!). There were 5 of us and a baby, and everyone had their own room with their own bed. The closets were full of big, fluffy, blankets in case someone got cold while they were……

“Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. Special feeling to float in the lake at night after the sauna experience. Armada of toys and games kept the young ones engaged. Kayaks and paddle boards. Two fridges were ever so helpful when you have a party of 12 as we did. Communication with the host was lightning-fast and friendly. The island is a magnet for fish. Overall,……

“We wanted a quiet place to relax for a few days, and this cabin fit the bill perfectly. We'll stay there again.”

“We stayed here with our 6 teen/adult children. We absolutely loved it. The house has so much space. All the little details were thought of. The bedrooms each had plenty of spare bedding with great pillows, each room had a fan, and there were plenty of towels for everyone. Bathrooms all had lots of toilet paper and soap. We appreciated that there was coffee in the kitchen, as well as paper towel and dish soap. Even the showers had a supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We loved……

“We were in town for a family reunion on Fish Hook Lake, so the location was great! HWY 71 was a little loud in the evening as we were trying to get to bed with the windows open, but we managed. The owner had a great communication and was accommodating to our schedule. Very clean and everything we needed was there!”
