“Just back from a stay at Sofitel Bahrain and honestly, it was excellent. The hotel is in a stunning spot right on the beach with beautiful sea views and a peaceful, private feel. Staff were genuinely warm and attentive—nothing felt forced. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had that subtle luxury feel without being overdone. The Friday brunch was a real highlight—loads of variety and great atmosphere. Spa is worth a visit too, and the pool area was perfect for a proper switch-off. All in all,……

“It really was a wonderful experience. A typical hotel can not compete with this concept. It is a 40-60 minute drive from the airport depending on traffic. The welcome and send off were especially pleasant, cordial and heartfelt. Knowing how deceptive photos can be, I thought the privat pool might be a bit small and was prepared to use the main one. But it was in fact a very good size and swimming laps also worked well. It was very nice to be able to swim and enjoy the pool in silence as most……

“Very nice hotel with great service and parking available. There is "only" 1 restaurant though and not 3 and it is quite pricy for the region. The bar / smoking area is very nice with a good view however as stated, it is a smoking area so be advised if you go for a drink your cloths will stink :P There are 2 smaller mini markets in the area which is walkable in 2 minutes and the hotel is also close to many malls and other interesting places and the airport. The view from my room ( 26th floor )……

“Rooms are 1* quality, totally overdated, broken doors, no heating, windows not closing. Needs fully to be refurbished. Breakfast very poor quality, staff not present. Very loud music till 2am in the bar. Outside bar and pool are the only photos that show how it is, other photos don't reflect how it is really. Good there was a Black Angus aside where you could have a good diner. ”

“The location of this hotel is great and so is the food and service. The rooms/suites are very spacious and were recently renovated nicely. The 3 pools are a good size for our kids and the lifeguards in site are very vigilant. Our kids also like the kid club and the activities they do. The gym is pretty big and never busy. Breakfast has a good selection and is worth including. Also, the restaurants at this hotel offer good food options and have a nice vibe. ”
