“We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“The view is amazing! The accommodations could use a little bit of work. The water is an issue. It does smell awful and you cannot drink it. The listing is misleading. It states there is a spa tub and there is not. With a little bit of effort this could be an amazing place. Our stay way good overall. I just wouldn’t stay here again.”

“We had a great time at Andropolis with my intergenerational family. No complaints about the beds, the cottages are in good condition and very clean, and all as pictured. The property leading down to the shore is stunning and leads to perfect sunsets on the horizon of Lake Michigan. The host was more than accommodating, going out of his way to make sure all the amenities were fully supplied for our stay. We saw other guests occasionally, but only from afar. “It was our first time in the area and it was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities, charm, and comfort. My favorite part was the location/neighborhood because it was quiet and right next to the nature park (perfect for our dogs). It was also just a short walk to the water/restaurants. ”

“Owners were great from the start with good communication and responsive. Location was ideal for access to all that Door County offers. Its central location in the quaint town of Ephraim makes most of Door County’s destinations within easy striking distance. The loft is nicely and uniquely furnished, comfortably useable , with a nice view overlooking the lake. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.”

“What a great stay for my husband and I and our pups. This cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring around Door County and a short walk to see the sunset. ”

“Beautiful property overlooking water. Stunning sunset. We enjoyed watching wildlife. For Walks on the beach bring appropriate shoes. Dock a bit wobbly. Clean home. Note three rooms are for three people. Beds not the most comfortable and make noise when moving! They had a full septic tank, we bought more paper towels, tp. and towels to stay comfortably. Kitchen can be small with more than two cooks. Not enough chairs to sit around table and eat together. We enjoyed the patio/deck area for meals.……
