“Older property along a river with palm trees. Has some history with John Wayne and Olivia Newton John having stayed there in the 70s. Quiet and comfortable which is what we look for. ”

“What a beautiful property! It’s a perfect relaxing spot right in front of the arches. It’s immaculately clean and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I got a wonderful massage at the spa and highly recommended. The food on property was very good too. I will definitely return soon. ”

“Irma was the best. Not only did she check us in but took us to the room and showed us everything we needed to know. Very personable and at your beck and call. Ryan was also very pleasant to deal with as well. Our room was perfect. The view, the balcony, the kitchenette, cleanliness, and just what I envisioned when looking for a place. Definitely will stay again when in the area. The restaurant Luna was the frosting on the cake. Don’t miss it. Staff caters to us from beginning to end.”

“Good property for the price! Located near shopping, restaurants, about 3-4 blocks from the beach access point. Free parking. Pool is not heated so no-one was using it in early Feb. Room is dated but pleasant and useable. Exterior pathways could benefit from attention. I'd stay here again.”

“Sunset, it’s a wonderful and unique resort. Golf cart transportation was excellent and fun. All the staff that we met were very helpful and friendly. Only complaint is that beds are not comfortable. Cabo Charlie was a great host, communication was great and helpful for first time to Sunset. Charlie also graciously gave us a free night. Overall a wonderful time and lots of options for food and activities. We will be back!”

“We were not told ahead of time before booking this trip that September is the only month that this property is allowed to do construction so the entire time we were on vacation we couldn’t sleep in, relax, or enjoy our time in the room or even by the pool because all you heard was construction. Tried reaching out to the owner, they finally got back to me and their only reply back was they could move me to another room but it didn’t matter because construction was going on all over the property……
