“We rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day.”

“Everything about this property was carefully designed and crafted to complement the Adirondack theme. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After preparing dinner they started a fire in the pit where everyone congregated and traded stories. Highly recommend this property!”

“Older, rustic property but clean and comfortable. It is an upstairs apartment with kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms , and a bathroom. Walking distance to dining and gas station/ convenience store. One concern we had was that the only access was a steep staircase. We could deal with it but this should be mentioned so handicapped renters would know.”

“This was more than just another place to stay, it was a great experience. We stayed in the cottage and it was better than described. It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The entire unit was very clean. John and Yvonne were warm and gracious hosts. I just can’t say enough good about it all. ”

“First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”
