“Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold……

“This was my second visit and I was able to spend my leisure time in a very relaxing environment with a beautiful view. At night, I was able to see the beautiful night view and stars, and I enjoyed the quiet environment. This time, it was snowing and very cold, but I was very satisfied with the wonderful time I had, which will become a good memory. We will definitely come here again.”

“Loved the property and the house! There was fishing for the boys, hot tub for the teens and adults and plenty of yard for the kids to run around and play. The property owner felt like the uncle in Tennessee I’ve never had! Haha! House is was stocked with household supplies and made it very convenient and affordable to stay! We are wanting to make this place a yearly stay. ”

“It was an amazing quaint cabin. Hot tub was awesome, especially since we were there during arctic storm. Amazing location and scenery. ”

“The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great. ”

“The cabin was a perfect retreat for our Christmas getaway to Chattanooga. It is located just minutes from all the main attractions Chattanooga has to offer but nestled away in a quiet wooded area. We were able to explore the wooded property and felt at home from the moment we arrived. Cabin was very clean and well stocked upon arrival. We were lucky enough to meet the host while exploring our surroundings and he was very gracious and told us all about the extras that this cabin had to offer. My……

“This was the perfect fishing cabin for my partner amd I. Very private and safe, great place to park your boat at night. We never eat out so the cabin kitchen was perfect for are evening meals. Highly recommended and I'm planning staying there again when I come back to Tennessee to fish.”

“This cabin was adorable!!! It was well appointed and not a single detail has been overlooked. It’s absolutely spotless. It is very comfortable. We loved the little deck on the back. The cabin is tucked away in a beautiful little area. We felt so safe at the cabin. The rain shower head in the bathroom was wonderful and there is great water pressure. There were more than enough towels, too. That was nice. We found little treats and a couple of bottles of water in the fridge. So many nice touches.……
