“We loved our stay. From the outside the hotel looks run down and not operational but once inside it is gorgeous. The staff were so nice and shared the history of the building. Beautiful old hotel from 1870. Each room is decorated differently. The staircase defines grand. Bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet. We will be back for sure. ”

“Had a good rapport w/ owner and his staff. Staff was excellent even when the owner was not around. Relatively new ownership that is steadily making improvements to the property. Easy access to the property and pleasant city and downtown business community.”

“Very nice place, everything is new and updated. Close to Dyersville, we were in town for a baseball tournament.There was a bad storm that went through with tornado warnings and Nick checked in on us to make sure we were safe and that we had power. We were also able to check in an hour early which was very nice. Nick was responsive to my messages. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“I stayed overnight with a friend is this cabin. Everything was super cute right down to the sign at the drive entrance showing you how far you were from certain places… including the Beer Barn! Highly recommend. ”

“The most important reason we chose the property was it had 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for my wife and I and our 4 girls and their families. Plus it was about 10 minutes from Walmart and 15 minutes from downtown. Aaron was great to work with and the home was just what we needed. We would be willing to stay again.”
