“We have stayed at vacation rentals for 20 years. This one tops the list. Very spacious, brightly decorated, lots of bright windows, four bedrooms, three baths, most every utensil we needed. And the gymnasium was a huge hit. The in-home theater requires a computer, and we didn’t bring one, so we spent our evenings out by the campfire, making s’mores. Then we came in and played games at the big table. We took the pontoon on the St. Croix River at the local marina. Ate in Hudson four times……

“We had a great time and loved the nearby parks and trails to walk, ride bikes, and pick-up local food and drink. We will be back again in the future.”

“Bobbi was wonderful throughout our time there at the Sanctuary. We had 46 people staying there for our family reunion and it was amazing! The kitchen was fully stocked. We had 2 large gathering places and the beds were comfortable. Checkout was smooth too. We liked it so much that we will be going back for our next family reunion.”

“The owner is super friendly and very prompt in responding. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was AC in both bedrooms. The grounds are well manicured and peaceful. Off street parking and a nice little coffee bar. Highly recommend and we would definitely love to come back! Very convenient to downtown as well.”

“Great location, photos are very accurate, space was clean, it is loud from the busy street but the host was very clear on that from the start. I appreciated the host clearly communicating to us in a timely fashion. She let us know Lumber Jack days was going on so it might be busier than usual. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend!”

“A group of girls and I stayed here for a bachelorette party we were having and it was perfect! The in-ground pool was so nice, the hot tub was relaxing, and the house itself was beautiful! Also, the host was very sweet and accommodating. The only thing I would recommend is maybe bringing a couple of air mattresses if you have more than 4 people. The sleeping arrangements were not very comfortable but it was just fine for the short amount of time we were there for. Overall we had a blast! ”

“The property was perfect for our stay for our son's wedding. We are originally from the Twin Cities area, so very familiar with it. It was a great location, quiet but convenient. We loved being so close to the river. The house itself is nicely furnished (better quality than most that we've stayed in). Matt was very responsive to any questions we had.We would definitely consider this property again if we were to come back for an extended stay.”
