“This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. The only thing id change would be an update to the mattress which was far to soft and for the soft furnishings to be……

“House has plenty of character and is in a location that is an easy walk to town. All the amenities catered for our needs. Host was helpful and accommodating to our requests.Found that the single bed in Bedroom 3 is actually a high bunk bed which meant the person planning to sleep there had to sleep on couch as could not climb the stairs. Also Bedroom 4 is bunk beds - not 2 singles - and only accessed via Bedroom 3 which made it not private. Felt the description should have explained the sleeping……
