Very nice property

Very nice property with a shared pool and A/C and about a 8 minute drive to downtown Uvita. It is a bit difficult to find, though, because the map wasn't detailed enough, so you'll want to ask for directions when you get to Uvita

Peaceful

We just spent 10 days here. The house is very nice, very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and gadgets. There is air conditioning through out the house, 3 individual systems so you can cool as needed. The shared pool is awesome. This house is only about a 1/2 km off the highway on a mostly paved road. We would be happy to stay here again.

Very good stay… until the extra charge.

I made two bookings for our stay, each one for a month, hence the two reviews of this property. Everything was good with our stay until we were charged an excessive amount for a couple trivial items— some we disputed with the host; however, we didn't receive a response back and our card on file was charged. We were told we broke 4 glasses (I know we broke two) and we were accused of taking a 6” cooking pot. We never saw a 6” cooking pot or used such thing, we bring our own stainless steel cooking pots for personal reasons and would have no use for the pot we were charged for apparently taking. Communication was good with this host until it came to the extra charges post check-out. This would be my only caution to those staying here. Do an inventory of items and perhaps photograph it upon check in.

Loved our stay at Casa SYV

Our family stayed here for two months and we very much enjoyed our time here. The property is amazing— set off from the business of the roads and town, you can relax peacefully or listen to the dozens of birds that frequent this area! Toucans feed on the trees nearby and can be viewed right from the patio— same with the capuchin monkeys! Our kids loved being able to explore around the property. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay, We found the house had everything we needed! The host, Saulo, is extremely responsive— and would answer and resolve and concerns that we raised very promptly. One night we were cooking our supper and the tank ran out of gas, I notified the host and 15 minutes later, our gas tank was swapped out with a full one! Muchas gracias!
