“We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary……

“A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!”

“westport is a lovely town and this townhouse is a perfect place to stay to avail of the pubs, restaurants, shops, and the Greenway. ”

“There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. A table broken since October has not been fixed 6 months later.I……

“I’d give 10 stars if I could! We had the most wonderful two week stay here. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed and has plenty of space for human guests and for our dogs, they loved it just as much as we did. The area is outstanding, quiet and peaceful with beautiful empty beaches within walking distance or a short drive from the house. On our first day, we saw a pod of dolphins that put on a spectacular display for us 🐬 Belmullet is a lovely wee……

“The house is well appointed and the pictures of the view/ house/living spaces were true to life! Kitchen & dining area were spacious & comfortable. The upstairs living room provide comfort and a pan-o-rama of ocean views. It is a bit isolated at nearly the end of a single track road, but worth the drive. If you are not from Ireland, pay attention to to the house instruction book especially for hot water!”
