“The room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is well prepared. Landlady arranged late check in for us. But there is no hot water for shower. Because it was 23:00, we can’t call the landlady so we tried to email them but failed. In the morning, I tried to ask Hotels.com to help me, in the chat room the staff was not helpful. ”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“Another great break at the briers. Ive stayed in the slieve donard, the avoca and the donard. The briers is easily my favourite. Beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again before the end of the summer.”

We were not allowed to go unless we had something to eat! 😆 The beds are the most comfortable I have slept in bar my own at home. “My family of six stayed here- we are from New York, we didn’t know the area very well. My husband and my four kids and I just adored this place. We booked a double room, which was perfect. The front room. The four kids stayed in and my husband and I stayed in the other room. The kids haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had there. It was so comfy and quiet. The people at the desk were above and beyond helpful. Just an amazing part of our trip to Northern Ireland! ”

“We were over for the 12th celebrations. The property was in a great location, the host responded very quickly to any queries, the property was very clean, homely and had everything we needed, the bed had the comfiest pillows I’ve ever came across and the host had left us milk etc for a cuppa on arrival, beautiful interior and all that was needed for our stay. ”
