“This was an incredible experience. The caboose was clean and everyone was very friendly. The animals were the best part of the experience. I recommend helping as much as possible with feeding the animals and really immersing yourself in the experience. ”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The house is very accommodating and has a lot to offer. We visited the animals of Buffalo Creek and it was a good time. We went to Berm Park and Maggie Valley, which are less than a 30-minute drive away. I have a few minor complaints: the beds are not comfortable in our opinion, there were cobwebs throughout the house, the grass had not been cut, and the backyard could use a routine spraying of insecticide. I would still highly recommend staying here……

“The house is exactly as expected. One of the cleanest and most well-kept rentals we’ve stayed in. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had all the things we needed. The views are absolutely incredible! We loved sitting on the porch in the chairs or hot tub and just looking out over the mountains. We heard tons of birds singing and even got to see a black bear walking down the driveway. The drive up is winding but not difficult. Definitely a place we’d recommend and return to!”

“Very comfortable, well kept, very clean. Back deck with mountain view. Host is very responsive. Since it is in the mountains the drive to it was somewhat challenging to me as a city guy. However the owner was able to tell us a way that has a paved road most of the way before the unpaved road to the house which made it better. I recommend taking your food supplies since it's not a quick trip to stores. ”
