“Parents week away for our anniversary and were so pleasantly surprised at finding this gem.Communication with the host Zoe was top notch she answered all our questions quickly and after a huge snow fall Kurt was a quick to come out and plow us out and check on the internet/satellite. The overall cleanliness was good we did however find quite a few dishes with food stuck to them, easy to see in the slow season how this might not have been double checked and was easy enough for us to move past……

“Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. This is a public entrance area. Our son did some fishing off the dock and caught a nice size bass which we……

“Went away for a fall weekend with my family to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. The cottage was the perfect getaway - right on the lake with a beautiful dock, and the cottage had everything you needed to feel right at home. Also, being only 15min away from Bancroft was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Older home in reasonably good repair, except the back deck and a lot of squeaky doors. Lots of room and well-equipped. Large creek at the edge of the back yard which is very scenic and possibly a kayak launch but best to check first. Hot tub under the stars is lovely. ”
