“My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. ……

“The owner was very helpful! She was interested in our needs and travelplans. We stayed there for our first night in Sri Lanka and we're very Happy. They had a beautiful roof top and good breakfast. Whenever we needed Something, we could go downstairs, but also had a Lot of privacy.”

Not only were they able to assist in my commute to the airport and back, they were able to help me to items I needed, plan other upcoming trips and even store my luggage until my final stay before returning home. “THe hotel is very dirty and smelly. There s no cover for the blanket but only bed sheet. Washroom door is broken and unable to close. Rubbish bin is not cleared before our checkin and smelly. Hotel staff are nice and friendly though.”

He helped me plan my bus route to Tissa, showed me how to get to certain places in Negombo, provided me with an umbrella to shade myself ruin the intense sun while walking around, etc. it's a 2min walk to the bus station as well ”
