“This property was very clean, and as other reviews stated, the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was good, and they responded positively to our suggestions for more accommodations for large groups such as extra bath towels and kitchen cloths and towels. We also suggested a few folding chairs and a high chair, since the table cannot comfortably seat more than about ten (there are a few seats at the island as well though). “We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different……

“Amazing home and beautiful property right on Lake Michigan. We didn't need to bring any of the usual items such as toilet paper, paper towel and trash bags, as they were plenty of each. Kitchens were well equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, silverware and utensils. Only a few minor problems. We could not get the codes to work for check-in, but was resolved with a couple of calls to Vacasa. There was a dirty towel in one of the bathrooms and a dirty pot on the stove in the kitchen.……

We also brought snow gear and they played outside on the playground - the playhouse was a big hit! The area was very quiet and perfect for my solo retreat. It's also a very short drive to Kal-Haven trail, which was a delight.
