“We had a wonderful overnight at Phil & Ann's. First, the room was icy cold when we walked in - someone had thoughtfully put on the AC before we arrived so it would be comfortable. Everything was brand new - new paint, new large Fridge, new towels, etc -- and very clean. The property has a nice pool, plus shuffleboard, large grassy area, a volleyball net and a great fire pit area. Our villa/room had its own large tree and 2 chairs to lounge in, plus a picnic table. We had a great time. ……

“I had a very nice stay at the Winnapaug Inn. Staff was in the office when I arrived and greeted me with smile. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was awesome! Shower had plenty of hot water. My room overlooked the putting green of the golf course. I could go out on the balcony from my room and enjoy a nice cup of tea. The beach was only 3 minutes away. I would definitely stay again. ”

This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic……
