“We selected Bardstown since it is the Bourbon Capital of the World. We road our motorcycles from our home in Auburn,Al to spend 4 days riding the Bourbon Trail. Although a little cool in the mornings, we had excellent weather. We very had schedule several distillery tours & visited many others. We also got the chance to visit Keeneland & Church Hill Downs. It was an excellent week! The house was perfect with very nice amenities. We could not have asked for a better property in a central……

“The property was perfect for our needs and the host was incredibly communicative and helpful. Everyone had their own, comfortable room (four adult men), the common areas were great, and it was conveniently located near all of the local distilleries and shopping. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a great meal, and even had sharp knives which is rare! We did find that Uber didn't work as well as we had hoped, and the local car service had an hour wait, so for future……

“Very nice place in a good location close to Bardstown. Very clean, homey. Beds were a bit too firm for our liking. Some things needed attention - outlet in bathroom did not always work, stairs had no handrail, clocks on walls were not working, would have helped to have some nightlights - very dark! Would have been nice to have a lightbulb working above stove and some dim lights for kitchen. Extra bathroom is very small, far from bedroom. Attention to a few details would make this rating higher,……

“Everything was as described and very clean. We traveled with 2 other couples and it was perfect that each couple had a bathroom and a King size bed! ”

“Thus property was in a great location and neighborhood. Only downside was the trash can outside was overflowing and no room for our trash. I did tell the property manager but nothing was done about it. There was a big storm which blew the overflow trash allOver and we have to pick it up a couple of times. Other than that it was great! ”

“Awesome communication from the host and very prompt! Perfect size for me and my husband. We did not use the upstairs bedroom; best for a teenager to use (in my opinion). The outdoor gas grill was a bonus! The road does get busy but it did not interfere with sleeping. There is a white noise machine for those who may need it. Bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“You wouldn’t know this bungalow is just a block from anything you would need in the way of groceries, shopping, restaurants. Very clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is, other than a great assortment of pots, pans, skillets, and knives, there was nothing else to cook with. No mixing/serving bowls, no bakeware, very little flatware. I was constantly washing dishes (we ate all our meals in). I had to buy a can opener which I left for the next guest. But we made do and really enjoyed our stay.……
