“We had a great stay in this hotel. The layout is great. The rooms are filled with a feeling of history. The pool is lovely. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very short walk and you are in the central square of one of the most beautiful towns in Latin America. What more could you want. “This a beautiful place to stay, the staff is friendly and kind. We had difficulty arriving to the property, but the staff was accommodating and extremely understanding. ”

“The original booking was for Tierra Roja, but the hotel was in a bad section of town and down very muddy roads. The hotel manager sent us to another hotel they managed, but didn’t adjust the price until we noticed that it was listed for quite a bit less on hotels.com. They agreed to a partial refund and we thought everything was fine. We were the only ones staying there and the lady who took care of the hotel left early. Just before midnight someone tried to break into our room. We scared them……
