Barmouth certainly supplies plenty to occupy you, much of it within a short stroll. You can board a ferry boat to Fairbourne and walk back across the famous viaduct. Panorama Walk is nearby, as well as access to Barmouth viaduct, where you can walk or cycle over and along the Mawddach Trail made famous by ’Julia Bradbury’s walks’.
For more coastal fun, be sure to visit Harlech, another sandy beach awaits, alongside the renowned Harlech Castle and the esteemed golf club of Royal St David’s. Porthmadog, Portmeirion and Dolgellau are all worth a visit and offer more to see and do.
