“If you're looking for the perfect getaway near Killington, look no further than this incredible rental home! From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how spacious and welcoming the property felt. It easily accommodated our large group, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.The home has such a cozy, homey atmosphere that made it hard to leave! We spent our evenings gathered around the real fireplace, which added so much warmth and charm to the experience.……

“I felt like I was staying with family. The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The goats were great hosts;) and the rest of the animals were so fun to be around. There was a lovely fire pit that we used in the evening and our check in and out were extremely easy and stress free!”

“The home had an elevated deck with full view of the lake from all spots on the deck. There was also a back room with views of the lake. Kitchen was well stocked, house was clean, and the queen bed was comfortable. AC would have been nice, but there were plenty of fans..Town of Ludlow was close with good food.”

“Margarete and Alice welcomed us upon arrival. The house was the quintessential New England home! It was super clean, our bed was very comfortable with soft welcoming linens. The views are incredible, and the property provided much needed peace and tranquility. The weather was not the best but we managed to find plenty to do in the area. Alice, Margarete's black lab, took us for a hike on the property. She was an excellent playful guide! We look forward to returning to this peaceful retreat in……

“We loved this house! Perfect for our family of 4 summer time getaway. Short (minutes) drive to restaurants, hikes, Killington Mountain. We loved the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Vacasa was easily accessible and responsive via text. The house is close to a main road so there is some noise, but it didn’t bother us - the property is nicely tucked away and we use white noise for sleeping. The house was stocked with fun games for the kids, and the hot tub/fireplace/deck was were we spent most of……

“We had a wonderful stay at this charming, little lake house! We never ran out of things to do - kayaking, swimming, fishing, cooking s'mores over the fire... We also visited the VINS Nature Center in Quechee and learned so many interesting facts about birds of prey! The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals but there are also several good restaurants right in Ludlow.The 2 window ACs keep the whole house at a very comfortable temp. We're already thinking about returning next year!”
