“We loved our stay. The outdoor features were just as great as indoors. We spent a lot of time on the upper lookout watching the birds and sunset. Walkable to town and a couple of nature tours. Plenty to do here and wish we had stayed more than two nights :) ”

“This land was so beautifully designed and maintained. We were looking for a spot off the beaten tourist hub where we could find quiet, reflection and be in deeper intimacy with the aninate world. It took a bit of effort to locate but we arrived just at sunset. Completely in awe with the bird life that visited (even the outspoken morning rooster :). And the visit to the river was welcomed. It does require a drive to and from, but if you welcome some time on the veranda watching the birds, you……

“To stay here a car is the best way to go—it’s located on a lovely property a bit outside of Santa Elena proper—not walkable to the Cloud Forest and other things we wanted to do, although only a short drive to coffee tours and a nighttime wildlife tour. The house is beautiful in a very contemporary Latin American style. Nice pool, but it was a bit rainy when we were there and sun breaks did not correspond well with when we wanted a dip—but we can’t blame the hostess for that ”
