“Cowdry cabin and Hut worked perfectly for two couples getting away.The cabin to water proximity is perfect and flat.Plenty of and varied outdoor chairs to choose from and the lake is the show. Morning dancing dragonflies, loons and ducks, and spectacular sunsets.Cabin is charming and comfortable, plenty of space to spread out to read and relax or get together for meals and cards.I recommend to others looking for an Alexandria lake front stay. “House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The yard was great for grandkids Spent most of our time playing on the lake. Love the big dock. Grandkids caught lots of fish. One thing that would be a great add on is a washer and dryer. High humidity made it hard to dry towels and swimsuit ”

“The place is very clean, the manager very responsive to any questions, always available. It was a little pricey for what you get. Bathroom and shower small. Nice location, close to town. The view is beautiful and have lots of seating outside. The only bad thing is they have awful fragrance diffusers plugged in. The smell gave me a headache! Please refrain from using these, they give off toxins, full of synthetic fragrances. Maybe use something like fresh wave instead, a non toxic air……

“Loved this property and plan to return again. It is perfectly appointed with everything you need. It looks small but it has nooks, hooks and baskets to put away all your things. The screen porch is wonderful. Swimming and boating right from the property and the lake is very clear. The host was very responsive to needs and concerns.”

“We had a group of 8 for a weekend retreat and the house was great. Pleanty of rooms with 3 full bathrooms to make it comfortable for all. A quick drive to town and so very close to the winery and brewery. Everything we needed was in the house and it made for a very relaxing weekend. “The house was perfect for our family - 11 people (toddlers - adults). Check-in was easy, and Jeremy responded quickly to all questions. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to make our meals (nice pots/pans and utensils). The double oven was a bonus. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed the large screen in the basement and comfy seating. We had a minor problem with the air conditioning not cooling the upstairs, but Jeremy had someone out right away……
