“This secluded home on a remote lake was very peaceful. This place is ultra clean, very spacious, and ideal for a family or friends. We appreciated the ‘no pet’ rule as both of us are sensitive. It’s close to Rice Lake for restaurants and local events there. Carrie also decorated this place with a simple but elegant understated beauty, so it was easy to maintain for us. “This was our second time staying at Loon’s Nest. Everything was perfect for our family of 13. The layout of the house works beautifully with three families and two pets. The ability to dock our pontoon at the docks is pure bliss! The children caught many panfish from the dock and enjoyed the canoe. Although the days were cool they still found a couple of days to jump in and play on the trampoline. Excellent time had again and we booked for next year!”

“The secluded cabin was perfect for dogs with stranger anxiety. They enjoyed walking the wooded dirt roads on long leashes. We enjoyed kayaking on a quiet lake and relaxing in the well maintained hot tub and sitting by the bonfire. Taverns, coffee shop and gift/antique shops all nearby.”

“We loved this treasure of a home that has been in a 1970s time capsule. Beautiful layout, perfet for family and kids. Adult sitting area separate from TV area. Not that the kids will want to stay in and watch TV with this wonderful yard, back sitting area, lake w easy dock access. We did not hear or see any neighbors w the tree line and fence. Private dock area also. LOVED... LOVED this experience. We brought along a lily pad and the kids spent every free moment in the water. Kitchen set up for……
