“Once we arrived at this property we were very excited to stay here. The house itself is quite unique and had a fantastic view of the jungle below. The porch overlooking the jungle was a great place to relax and watch nature. We saw toucans, humming birds, butterflies, and fireflies in the tree tops at night. There were also some giant dragonflies, and we saw an agouti, twice feeding on the jungle floor below. It is about 10 minutes from Dominical. It is also close to Parque Nacional Marino……

After walking down the stairs, you see the most incredible rock house with built-in spa, open concept living/dining areas, and truly incredible bathroom with heated seat and great shower. Sparkling clean infinity pool, full kitchen, BBQ pit on back patio, excellent service from host and staff. The 5k maintained rock road to get there from main hwy is a bit of a rough drive but well worth it. This was our 5th trip to Costa Rica and we have stayed at many wonderful places- but none as amazing as CanaVida. Only stayed 2 nights- wish we had stayed 2 weeks! ”
