“A restaurant is exactly downstairs of our room, so it was quite noisy in the night time from the guests sitting outside of restaurant. Also there was a few second noise from the electric box of the room every minute when we turned on the air conditioning. The location of room is very good, walking distance to Matera old town. “Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again.”

The staff were super helpful reaching out prior to check in to coordinate arrival but also shared many great links to current events, restaurants, things to do etc. The room and shower were lovely, clean and spacious. The location could not have been better. Just at the top of the Sassi so easy to get to one of the main boulevards with many restaurants in the new section overlooking the Sassi as well as the Sassi itself. Parking was not available……
