“We were quite shocked in a good way when we checked in. The condition, facility and decor were so beautiful. I would call it luxury apartment. Probably this is the first apartment I stayed in Italy which was not ruined by cheap plastic IKEA furniture. Room was spacious, the bathroom was also big. Every single details was well designed and thoughtful. The host also gave us a little tour of cave underneath and it was quite fascinating. We wanted to stay longer… the location was also great. “A restaurant is exactly downstairs of our room, so it was quite noisy in the night time from the guests sitting outside of restaurant. Also there was a few second noise from the electric box of the room every minute when we turned on the air conditioning. The location of room is very good, walking distance to Matera old town. We really enjoy to stay at Matera.”

“Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again.”
