“This property is just AMAZING! It is set in the old town, part of the Sasi. The hotel is in what was a Palace back in the 1700’s. The room we stayed in was literally a cave that had been updated and converted to a hotel room. The pictures on their site do a wonderful job showing what the rooms are like. “The property was amazing and great value for money. It is on the edge of the Sassi and you only have to go a few metres to see the most spectacular views. The facilities were modern and clean and the staff/owner were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. There is also a bus stop very close in proximity which makes it easy to reach the main coach stops in the main town if you don’t fancy the scenic walk Would definitely recommend ”

“The property was a beautiful. Cypress tree driveway, excellent pool, very nicely finished clean rooms & bathroom. The chef was on the whole very good. Located within 10km of Matera but in a quiet rural setting. The staff. Anna who served breakfast & checkout was excellent. The rest of the staff are either poorly managed and demoralised or should not be in a hospitality role. Checkin person was rude and didn’t make you feel welcome. Couldn’t really be bothered. The waiters I think must work on……
