“We had a wonderful stay at this charming rural house in Mungía. Lourdes, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. “Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. “The only thing that was misleading was that on your booking site it said distance to Bilbao was 5 km .This isnt true its 25km and because i was cycling i had a very late check in and alot of hassle because i cycled near Bilbao only to have over a 2 hr cycle back out north again. I wasnt happy and so please don't lie about distance ”

"A disappointing experience - written by my husband who was the one who stays at this hotel Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your neighbor (welcome back to the dormitory in the Albergue!). An experience certainly not to be repeated. Get yourself an hotel with better service. You deserve better!"
