“If you’re looking for a unique, off the beaten path type of place to stay while in the Princeton area, this is for you. Just 3/4 mile off Hwy 460, sits what we called “Granny’s Cabin”. Rustic and austere but with all the basic conveniences. Easy access to Princeton and surrounding state parks. Don’t forget to try Dab’s Country Kitchen in Princeton as well. Fantastic food!”

“Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see……

“Comfortable little country home with a great hot tub. Nature views, animals coming through the back yard are always pleasing. We usually come in the fall, but it was great as well in the Spring. We bike the New River trail and look forward to coming “home” and relaxing afterwards. The outdoor furnishings need some work and windows and shades need some extra cleaning attention. That view from the expansive windows is a real eye-pleaser! We added an extra day to our stay. ”

“Plenty of room for gathering in a convenient location. Very useful to have garages for the side by sides and super clean and updated inside the home. Plenty of hot water! We enjoyed the Bluestone River by a fire outside each evening. Would highly recommend a stay. ”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for the second time with our two dogs (1st time was in 2023! We loved it so much we had to return when picking this year’s trip!) This Max Meadows cabin is so peaceful & serene, no neighbors in sight from the house, very private. Our two dogs loved all of the outdoor space they got outside to roam around. My boyfriend & I enjoyed how cleanly this cabin always is, great communication from the host, and the location! Max Meadows was a great distance from some……

“We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!”
